Amazon's Software Development Engineer internship places you inside a product team building services used by millions of customers worldwide. Interns own a real project end to end and see their code reach production during the placement. The role is hiring through Amazon Web Services Development Center Germany GmbH.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire lifecycle of your code, from design through deployment and ongoing operations.
- Build and improve scalable services that reach millions of customers, sellers and products.
- Work within a collaborative engineering team on problems measured in weeks, not years.

Qualifications and requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field at the time of application.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java or Perl.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals including object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis.
- Preferred: experience from a technical internship, and experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems and relational databases.
