About this opportunity
Bain’s AI Engineering Intern joins the AI, Insights & Solutions team to build generative-AI and machine-learning systems for client projects. The learning-first role spans prototyping, development, evaluation and production deployment with mentorship from experienced engineers and data scientists.
Responsibilities
- - Build GenAI applications, AI pipelines, retrieval systems, agent workflows and reusable evaluation components.
- - Write and test APIs and services, prepare data, train and validate models, and collaborate with technical and client-facing teams.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Current or recently completed quantitative degree, or equivalent early-career experience, with 0–2+ years through work, research, projects or open source.
- - Python proficiency, API experience, sound software-engineering practices and fluency in English.
