About this opportunity
Amazon is hiring an Area Maintenance Manager Intern for Summer 2027. The employer states this is a ten-week internship at 40 hours per week, located within one of Amazon's fulfillment centres, sort centres, delivery stations or other operations buildings, and that it is not a corporate, remote or office-based position.
Responsibilities
- Support the Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team in keeping operations equipment running
- Work with operations teams to solve maintenance and reliability problems on site
- Take ownership of improvement projects during the internship
Qualifications and requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree programme, with all requirements anticipated to be completed between December 2027 and August 2028
- Preferred: enrolled in civil, electrical, industrial or mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: strong written and verbal communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
