About this opportunity
Tatu City’s Financial Reporting Intern supports the Business Planning and Reporting function with accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting across the organisation. The employer describes this as a one-year on-site internship contract in Tatu City, Kenya.
Responsibilities
- - Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports to agreed timelines.
- - Consolidate financial and operational information from different departments.
- - Maintain budgeting and forecasting templates and support budget-versus-actual analysis.
- - Reconcile ERP, accounting and operational data and help improve reporting processes.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business.
- - CPA Part II or III, or ACCA in progress.
- - Zero to two years of experience in financial reporting, audit, FP&A or commercial finance.
- - Advanced Excel skills and a sound understanding of financial statements and budgeting.
