Job description

About this role

The Analyst, ORAIE is a hands-on operator in Deel's Operational Risk Management (ORM) team. This is not a traditional risk analyst role. It is a fast solutioner role with an operational lens, where risk is the canvas and problem-solving with AI tools is the operating mode. The role focuses on owning workstreams and incidents end to end, building the AI and low-code automation the enterprise needs, and delivering outcomes that stand up to enterprise scrutiny.

Responsibilities

  • - Own the day-to-day execution of Deel's Operational Risk Management workstreams such as Operational Resilience, Product Ops and Third-Party.
  • - Turn framework artifacts (policies, procedures, guidance) into operating tools the business actually uses.
  • - Drive risk assessments, control identification, and evidence collection end to end. Do not wait for handoffs.
  • - Facilitate cross-functional risk sessions directly, prepare structured pre-reads, and land action items with owners.

Qualifications and requirements

  • - A minimum of 5 years operating in operational risk, business operations, RevOps, or top-tier consulting. Financial services background is desirable; we are looking for operator shape over risk pedigree.
  • - Curiosity about risk and the operational problems it exposes (bad process, missed signals, broken accountability). Hands-on experience with operational risk programs including RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, third-party risk, operational resilience, or change risk management. Familiarity with any of these is a plus.
  • - Strong attention to detail with experience managing structured risk data and analytical skills to identify patterns and trends.
  • - Daily use of AI tools in your workflow (Claude, agent platforms, Cursor, or equivalent). Fluency, not experimentation. Any active portfolio would be a big plus.
