About this role

Who We Are The Audit Manager will strengthen Renmoney’s financial control, audit readiness and reporting environment. The role will take ownership of the coordination of external audits and regulatory financial reviews; oversee the effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR); support accurate and timely Group reporting; and drive improvements in finance processes, systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• - Lead the Finance team’s coordination of the annual external audit and other statutory assurance engagements.
• - Act as the primary Finance interface with external auditors.
• - Coordinate audit requirements across Finance and relevant business functions.
• - Maintain a comprehensive audit request and issues tracker, with clear owners and deadlines.
• - Ensure information submitted to auditors is complete, accurate and provided within agreed timelines.

Qualifications and requirements

• - Minimum of 6 –12 years’ relevant experience in audit, financial control, accounting or financial reporting.
• - Strong experience within a Big Four audit firm is highly desirable.
• - Experience auditing or working within banks, financial institutions, fintechs or other regulated financial services businesses strongly preferred.
• - Experience at Assistant Manager/Manager level or above within a leading audit firm would be advantageous.
• - Demonstrable experience managing complex statutory audits and multiple stakeholders.
