About this role
Remote Recruitment is hiring a Bookkeeper for UK-based clients. Location as stated by the employer: South Africa. Work arrangement: fully remote, UK business hours 09:00-17:00 UK time. Pay: R29,000 per month. Work type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded
- Process supplier invoices, employee expenses and client payments
Qualifications and requirements
- 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
