About this role
Summary Develop fleet-aligned CANES and C4I training for U.S. Navy TACNET modernization, translating system updates, configurations and operational requirements into practical courseware.
Responsibilities
- - Review system updates and configuration changes against the current CANES fleet baseline.
- - Develop and maintain courseware, lesson plans, student guides, presentations and practical labs.
- - Apply Instructional System Design methods and Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM and AIM.
- - Support pilot courses and fleet training events.
- - Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback.
Qualifications and requirements
- - At least three years supporting TACNET, CANES, ISNS/COMPOSE or comparable Navy C4I systems.
- - Technical education or qualifying military/electronics training plus the stated professional experience.
- - Ability to interpret technical documentation and develop engineering/training content.
- - DoD 8570/8140 qualification within nine months of hire.
- - Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of hire.
