About this role
Remote Recruitment is hiring a Credit Control Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. Work arrangement: remote, UK hours 09:00-17:00 UK / 11:00-19:00 SAST. Pay: R25,000-R29,000 per month. Work type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Chase overdue invoices by phone and email, firmly and politely
- Manage the debtor ledger and aged debt reporting
- Agree payment plans and escalate where needed
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes
Qualifications and requirements
- Proven credit control or collections experience
- Confidence handling payment conversations over the phone
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
- Clear written and spoken English
