About this role
Urban Connect is recruiting a founding games engineer for a company that synchronises live sporting-event motion and positional data with Roblox environments. This remote B2B role is limited to candidates based in Romania and will lead game-side development.
Responsibilities
- Build and own the company’s Roblox integration.
- Develop systems that turn live motion and positional data into gameplay.
- Build character animation, movement and synchronisation systems.
- Develop robust client-server architecture for live experiences.
- Optimise performance across players, characters and live data.
Qualifications and requirements
- Solid understanding of multiplayer and client-server game architecture.
- Experience building character animation, movement and synchronisation systems.
- Strong performance-optimisation skills for real-time applications.
- Experience integrating external APIs or real-time data feeds into game engines.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced startup team.
