About this role
Hire Hangar is hiring a Junior Data Analyst for a named list of countries that includes South Africa and Egypt. The role requires coverage of United States hours, Pacific to Eastern time. Hire Hangar connects candidates with vetted employers. Pay: $700–$3,000 per month. Work type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning and organising data for analysis
- Build simple reports and visualisations to support business teams
- Help monitor key metrics and investigate anomalies
- Document data sources, definitions and processes
- Support senior analysts on ongoing analytics projects
Qualifications and requirements
- Degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience through a bootcamp, internship or self-study
- Basic knowledge of Excel and an interest in SQL and BI tools
- Strong desire to learn and grow within data analytics
- Great attention to detail and time management
- Effective communicator and team player
