About this role
Lead the architecture and multi-quarter evolution of Vanta’s enterprise program-structure platform for complex trust and compliance workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the enterprise organisation model and its hierarchical product and business-unit structure.
- Define durable platform abstractions for isolated data access, ownership, audit workflows and approvals.
- Design safe migrations for a live multi-tenant system while preserving existing customer continuity.
- Lead cross-team technical delivery and mentor engineers.
- Preserve platform reliability, security and regional data-residency requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- 15+ years of deep backend engineering experience.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex, multi-quarter platform programmes.
- Expertise in distributed systems, data modelling and production migrations.
- Experience designing multi-tenant architecture and access-control boundaries.
- Strong cross-functional technical leadership and communication.
- This is an advanced pathway, not an entry-level role.
