Senior Sales Recruiter - High-Volume Sales Hiring

About this role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Recruiter with a proven track record of recruiting and hiring sales professionals at volume. This is not a general recruiting role. The ideal candidate has personally sourced, screened, interviewed, and placed salespeople and understands how to evaluate whether a candidate can actually sell—not simply whether their resume matches the job description. You will own the recruitment pipeline from sourcing through interview coordination while helping identify high-performing sales talent.

Responsibilities

• Recruit sales representatives, sales managers, and other sales professionals at volume.
• Source candidates through Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and other relevant channels.
• Prioritize candidates with proven sales performance and relevant experience.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales talent.
• Recruit for field sales, commission-based, and contractor sales positions.
• Conduct structured interviews specifically designed to evaluate sales ability.
• Assess communication, persuasion, motivation, resilience, and sales aptitude.
• Identify candidates who demonstrate genuine sales capability beyond what is shown on their resume.
• Evaluate experience, performance history, targets, and ability to succeed in sales environments.
• Clearly communicate why a candidate is or is not a strong fit.
• Manage the full recruiting process from sourcing to scheduling client interviews.
• Maintain accurate candidate and pipeline information using Google Sheets.
• Coordinate interviews directly on the client's calendar.
• Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the process.
• Keep the pipeline organized and moving efficiently.
• Track sourcing, screening, interviews, and candidate progression.

Qualifications and requirements

• Proven experience recruiting and successfully hiring sales professionals.
• Experience recruiting sales representatives, field sales reps, sales managers, commission-based salespeople, or contractor sales reps.
• Strong understanding of how to screen and evaluate sales ability.
• Experience conducting structured candidate interviews.
• Experience with Indeed and/or ZipRecruiter.
• Strong Google Sheets skills.
• Experience managing the recruitment pipeline from sourcing through interview scheduling.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours; Central Time availability preferred.
• Has actually hired salespeople, rather than only general corporate or administrative talent.
• Knows the difference between a candidate who looks good on paper and someone who can actually sell.
• Is comfortable interviewing candidates about sales performance, targets, objections, and results.
• Can manage high-volume recruiting without sacrificing candidate quality.
• Takes ownership of the entire recruiting pipeline.
