This is a mid-to-senior role that owns the web department front to back: building new WordPress sites from concept to launch, leading design direction, setting up conversion tracking, and continuously improving performance on live client sites. This is not a ticket-only role, you'll shape how the sites look, convert, and perform.
Responsibilities
- Build complete WordPress websites from concept to launch, using internal templates and tools.
- Create design mockups and lead visual direction for new site builds.
- Join client onboarding calls to understand brand, goals, and preferences before building.
- Set up conversion tracking (GTM, Meta Pixel, GA4) for new and existing sites.
- Monitor conversion rates and make UI/UX improvements to increase leads.
- Handle support tickets, including bug fixes, layout issues, and content updates.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress sites: pages, blog posts, and landing pages.
- Troubleshoot theme, plugin, and performance issues.
- Support integrations with third-party tools and CRMs (GoHighLevel and similar).
- Perform basic hosting checks: uptime, plugin conflicts, and backups.
- Document fixes and processes to build a stronger internal knowledge base.
- Communicate clearly with non-technical team members on timelines and progress.
- Take on other web department responsibilities as they come up.
Qualifications and requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on WordPress experience, including full site builds from concept to launch.
- Strong UI/UX design sensibility, with the ability to create mockups and wireframes (Figma, Canva, or similar).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of conversion rate optimization, with experience setting up conversion tracking.
- Comfortable managing themes, plugins, and page builders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including with non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with hosting environments and basic server-side checks.
- Experience handling task-based or ticket-based workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work within or overlap with U.S. time zones.
- This role is open only to candidates based in LATAM & Europe.
