About this opportunity

The Learnership is a structured work-based program, affording unemployed youth work experience in our company. As a Sales Learner, you will be interacting with customers that have requested a quote or have called in to be assisted, Your role is to quote or assist the customer and ensure that they see the benefits of being insured by OUTsurance. You will be required to interact with clients, increase sales, upsell, make changes to current policies and elevate customer experience. The successful applicants will enter into a fixed term 12 month Learnership agreement (not an employment contract) with the company. This is a learning opportunity for unemployed youth that has a passion for call centre and would like to gain experience in order to pursue a career in the Financial and Insurance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers that have requested a quote or have called in to be assisted; quote or assist the customer and ensure that they see the benefits of being insured by OUTsurance.
  • Interact with clients, increase sales, upsell, make changes to current policies and elevate customer experience.
  • Enter into a fixed-term 12-month Learnership agreement (not an employment contract) and gain call-centre experience in the financial and insurance industry.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Matric or Equivalent
  • Recognized Diploma or Degree (Advantageous)
  • No Experience Required
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not previously on a Learnership with INSETA
  • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
  • Unemployed in the last 6 months
  • Computer Literate (MS Office)
  • Impeccable Communication & interpersonal skills
  • High Pressure and stress tolerant
