About this role
The Business Development Representative generates qualified meetings and sales pipeline for GitLab’s enterprise and mid-market accounts in Australia. This remote Australia role is based in Sydney or Melbourne and works with field marketing, digital marketing and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- - Manage inbound leads and execute outbound prospecting.
- - Conduct discovery conversations with target accounts.
- - Meet sales-accepted-opportunity volume targets.
- - Research accounts, identify decision-makers and develop outreach strategies.
- - Run multi-channel outreach using calls, email and social platforms.
- - Track activities and results in Salesforce.
- - Support regional marketing events and mentor new representatives.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Professional English proficiency.
- - Strong telephone, listening and writing skills.
- - A self-starting record of credible achievement.
- - Knowledge of business processes and organisational structures.
- - Experience developing enterprise or mid-market business in Australia.
- - Persistence in follow-up and objection handling.
- - Proficiency with Salesforce and LinkedIn.
- - Technology-industry, sales-development or outbound prospecting experience.
