About this role
Summary: Welo Data is hiring a freelance Chinese Translation Quality Rater for an ongoing remote project serving applicants in China. The role reviews and refines Chinese customer-service translations for accuracy, natural language and project alignment.
Responsibilities
- Edit and review machine-translated customer-service content for accuracy and consistency.
- Evaluate output quality, apply severity ratings and produce human reference translations.
- Follow project style, tone and terminology rules and report recurring quality issues.
Qualifications and requirements
- Native Chinese proficiency and strong English.
- Professional translation, localization or machine-translation post-editing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently online.
