About this role
Welo Global is recruiting freelance English-to-Arabic patent translators and linguistic-quality reviewers for remote work. Responsibilities
- Translate and review patent-related material from English into Arabic while preserving the original meaning in readable language for the target audience.
- Follow the employer's translation process and required CAT-tool workflow.
- Communicate promptly and effectively in English during the project.
Qualifications and requirements
- Native-level Arabic fluency.
- A degree in linguistics or translation, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least two years of patent-document translation or editing experience.
- Experience with CAT tools, particularly XTM and JIRA, plus strong attention to detail and reliable availability.
