About this role
Lead GitLab’s India-based Engineering and IT recruiting organisation, shaping technical hiring strategy, leadership searches and scalable recruiting operations across India and the broader Asia-Pacific region.
Responsibilities
- - Lead and develop recruiting managers and individual contributors supporting Engineering and IT hiring.
- - Own senior and executive technical searches and set regional sourcing and talent-pipeline strategy.
- - Advise leaders on workforce planning, hiring priorities, market intelligence and recruiting performance.
- - Partner with People, Compensation and Finance on headcount strategy, process and tooling.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Experience leading recruiting in high-growth technology or similarly complex organisations.
- - Experience managing recruiting managers or a multi-layered recruiting organisation.
- - Deep Engineering and IT recruiting experience, including senior and executive searches.
- - Strong knowledge of India’s technology talent market and data-informed recruiting operations.
