About this role
Elastic is hiring a Head of Growth Marketing to own customer acquisition for its self-service business, increase high-intent trials and improve activation, conversion and acquisition efficiency across the funnel. This player-coach role leads strategy, team building and hands-on channel execution.
Responsibilities
- Set annual and quarterly growth plans and report performance against trial and conversion targets.
- Build, scale and coach a distributed growth-marketing team.
- Own paid search, paid social, display, retargeting and emerging acquisition channels.
- Manage agencies against performance, CAC and payback targets.
- Build segmented email, nurture and in-product lifecycle programs.
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Web and Documentation teams on activation and conversion.
- Improve trial starts, acquisition efficiency and trial-to-paid conversion.
Qualifications and requirements
- 10+ years of growth-marketing experience in B2B enterprise SaaS.
- At least three years building and leading teams.
- Direct product-led-growth experience alongside an enterprise sales motion.
- Proven acquisition-target and paid-budget ownership against CAC and payback goals.
- Strong funnel analytics and dashboard fluency; SQL or product-analytics experience is a plus.
- Strong creative judgment, developer-audience marketing experience and executive communication skills.
