About this role
The Immigration Consultant manages complex Canadian immigration cases and advises Deel’s corporate clients on mobility strategy and compliance. This full-time Canada role serves as a regulated consultant representing clients before federal and provincial immigration bodies.
Responsibilities
- - Manage sensitive and escalated immigration cases under tight deadlines.
- - Prepare work-permit, labour-market, talent-stream, transfer and permanent-residency cases.
- - Maintain employer-portal and compliance records.
- - Reconcile the regulated client trust account and associated reporting.
- - Advise recruiting, human-resources and corporate clients on mobility strategy.
- - Maintain immigration templates, procedures, checklists and guidance.
- - Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into operational guidance.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Six to eight years of Canadian immigration experience.
- - Active Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant credential in good standing.
- - Detailed knowledge of federal and provincial immigration programmes.
- - Understanding of employer portals, compliance duties and trust-account reconciliation.
- - Strong communication and problem-solving under pressure.
- - Experience interpreting immigration policy for stakeholders.
- - Experience using AI or technology-enabled workflows in a regulated environment.
