About this role
Jumia is hiring a Key Account Manager for its Appliance and TV category in Ghana. The role owns relationships with key accounts, top brands and distributors, and is responsible for growing the category's sales volume and market share. Work arrangement: remote. Work type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Manage key accounts, top brands and distributors within the Appliance and TV category to build long-lasting commercial partnerships
- Develop and implement category-specific strategies to scale sales volume, maximise revenue and grow market share
- Work with sales and marketing to run promotional campaigns such as Tech Week, Black Friday and Home Makeover sales
- Analyse sales data, stock turn and consumer electronics trends to identify growth opportunities and competitive pricing
- Monitor GMV, stock health and vendor operational fulfilment
- Negotiate exclusive product launches, best-in-market pricing and optimal margins
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of commercial or account management experience, ideally in e-commerce, consumer electronics or home appliance retail
- Strong understanding of the Appliance and TV category, including home electronics specifications and brand positioning
- Sharp commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data tools
