About this role
As Zipline continues to grow, so does the opportunity to build lasting customer habits through thoughtful, personalized marketing. Lifecycle marketing has become one of our most effective levers for driving customer activation, increasing order frequency, and improving retention. We're looking for a Lifecycle & CRM Manager to help scale these efforts by bringing campaigns to market, supporting market-level growth, and creating more personalized customer experiences. Working closely with the Lifecycle Lead, you'll translate lifecycle strategy into customer journeys, campaigns, and day-to-day execution across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute customer campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging.
- Build and optimize customer journeys that support activation, repeat purchases, reactivation, and long-term customer value.
- Develop campaign briefs, audience strategies, journey logic, testing plans, and execution timelines.
- Manage the lifecycle marketing calendar, supporting market-level initiatives, partner campaigns, seasonal moments, and other business priorities.
- Build, QA, and launch campaigns in Braze, ensuring audience segmentation, personalization, timing, and customer experience meet a high standard.
- Partner with Analytics and Data Science to measure campaign performance, identify customer insights, and recommend opportunities to improve future campaigns.
- Expand testing, automation, personalization, and operational efficiency across the lifecycle program.
Qualifications and requirements
- 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, growth marketing, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience planning and launching campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging.
- Experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, experimentation, campaign measurement, and lifecycle marketing best practices.
- Experience executing both automated customer journeys and business-driven campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high bar for execution.
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments while balancing multiple business priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across marketing, commercial, creative, and analytical teams.
