About this role
The Offline Customer Support Officer assists walk-in customers and customers in WhatsApp groups from Moniepoint’s Maiduguri office in Borno State. This location-based role resolves service and technical enquiries while documenting issues and coordinating internal follow-up.
Responsibilities
- - Serve as the first contact for walk-in customers and WhatsApp enquiries.
- - Provide accurate responses to service requests.
- - Log customer-support requests for tracking and follow-up.
- - Coordinate issue resolution with relevant internal teams.
- - Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the regional or state lead.
- - Document customer feedback and identify appropriate solutions.
- - Protect customer information and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications and requirements
- - One to two years of relevant customer-service or support experience.
- - A BSc or HND qualification.
- - Completed NYSC service or a valid exemption or exclusion certificate.
- - Excellent written and verbal communication.
- - Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
- - Customer-focused judgement, empathy and attention to detail.
- - Ability to collaborate across teams and follow privacy procedures.
