About this role
Datadog is hiring a Sales Development Representative covering the Africa territory, based in Dublin, Ireland. Note that the placement itself is in Ireland — Africa refers to the sales territory, not where applicants may be based. Work arrangement: hybrid. Work type: Full time.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various Datadog teams
- Drive initial prospect qualification and schedule discovery meetings
- Develop, present and implement strategies for acquiring new business
- Conduct outbound outreach by cold calling and emailing prospective customers
- Follow a well-defined methodology to identify a customer's unique needs
Qualifications and requirements
- Motivated by a career in sales
- Regional knowledge of the territory is a must have; Arabic is a plus
- An innate curiosity to learn
- Proven written and verbal communication
- Comfortable learning from rejection
