Responsibilities

• Write high-quality content (blog posts, guides, landing pages, and more) that's genuinely worth reading, grounded in a real understanding of each customer's product and audience
• Write across the full range of campaign formats: thought leadership, blog posts, guides, landing pages, and email nurtures
• Move between registers with ease , from a long-form piece in an executive's voice to tight conversion copy on a landing page
• Review every piece your accounts deliver before it reaches the customer, whether you wrote it, a freelancer wrote it, or it started as an AI-assisted draft. (Note: we have separate Editors who edit pieces in production for feedback. Your role is the final…

Qualifications and requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in content marketing, with at least 2 of those years in B2B SaaS. Agency experience can be a plus
• Exceptional writing ability: You're first and foremost a writer. You produce publication-ready content with minimal revisions, writing with clarity, precision, and strategic insight, and you adapt your voice to different brands while keeping your standards…
• Campaign thinking: You see how individual pieces of content connect into a larger arc, and you write each one with its place in that arc in mind
• Range as a writer: You're as comfortable with in-depth thought leadership as with concise, conversion-focused copy, and you can switch between them without losing quality
• Strong editorial judgment: You can read someone else's draft, explain clearly why it does or doesn't work. You catch quality problems before customers do
• Animalz is hiring a senior, writing-first content marketer for enterprise and campaign work. The role creates thought leadership, blog posts, guides, landing pages and email sequences; coordinates campaign assets; reviews content; supports freelance writers; and communicates with customers.
