About this role
Install, maintain and migrate third-party software across enterprise IBM z/OS environments, with particular focus on replacing legacy ISV products while protecting operational stability.
Responsibilities
- - Install, configure, maintain and upgrade ISV software in z/OS environments.
- - Plan and execute product evaluations, migrations, conversions and operational cutovers.
- - Manage software maintenance through SMP/E and troubleshoot integrations and runtime issues.
- - Develop installation documentation, migration runbooks and operational procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- - Extensive experience as a z/OS systems programmer in enterprise environments.
- - Strong ISV software installation, maintenance and lifecycle-management experience.
- - Hands-on SMP/E and IBM mainframe utilities experience.
- - Proven troubleshooting skills and experience delivering product migrations or conversions.
