About this role
Datadog is hiring a Customer Success Associate for Commercial Accounts in Sydney. The role owns a book of business, manages the full sales cycle for existing customers and focuses on retention and adoption. Work arrangement: hybrid. Work type: Contract.
Responsibilities
- Identify target opportunities, manage the full sales cycle and build strategic relationships with customers, focusing on retention
- Manage requests from your book of business including technical support escalations, billing questions and enablement requests
- Pivot account management strategy based on different customer requirements
- Act as an advisor so customers use the solution effectively
- Monitor usage trends to uncover renewal risks and support adoption
- Collaborate with internal support, product, finance and legal teams
Qualifications and requirements
- Customer-minded, always trying to provide the most value possible
- Motivated by a career in sales with a desire to grow into Customer Success
- A strong written and verbal communicator with excellent attention to detail
- Experience independently negotiating contract terms and handling pricing objections
- 1+ years in a customer account-facing role
