About this role

As hiring activity changes, this individual will also support fleet management and other administrative workflows. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly detail-oriented, technologically capable, and able to work across several responsibilities without requiring constant direction. The position will begin at 10 hours per week, with the expectation that hours may increase significantly during the final two months of the year and as the role develops. The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Responsibilities

• Review delivery associate applications submitted through Indeed
• Contact applicants by phone, text, and email
• Conduct initial candidate screening interviews in English
• Ask approved qualification and availability questions
• Schedule qualified candidates for next-step interviews
• Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Maintain accurate notes regarding all candidate communication
• Assist qualified drivers through Amazon's onboarding process
• Coordinate background checks, drug testing, training, and required documentation
• Track each candidate's progress through the onboarding workflow
• Follow up on incomplete or outstanding requirements
• Update Amazon portals, ADP, and internal trackers accurately
• Ensure drivers do not advance until all required onboarding steps are completed
• Maintain complete records for Amazon audit and compliance purposes
• Assist with fleet records and administrative tracking
• Maintain vehicle-related spreadsheets, trackers, and documentation
• Follow up on required fleet information or outstanding action items

Qualifications and requirements

• Previous recruiting, onboarding, HR support, or executive administrative experience required
• Experience screening or interviewing job candidates strongly preferred
• Experience supporting logistics, transportation, delivery, or high-volume hiring operations preferred
• CRM experience required
• Strong experience with spreadsheets and data tracking required
• Ability to work during EST business hours required
• Native or near-native English communication required
• English/Spanish bilingual ability a plus but not required
• Experience handling confidential employee or applicant information preferred
• Strong attention to compliance, documentation, and audit readiness required
• Proactive self-starter who identifies next steps without waiting for repeated instructions
• Excellent English-speaking and written communication skills
• Comfortable interviewing and communicating with driver candidates
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented
• Quick learner who adapts easily to new portals and systems
• Able to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment
• Honest, dependable, and consistent in reporting completed work
