About this role

The Email & SMS Marketing Specialist will support the day-to-day execution of Email and SMS marketing across the customer lifecycle. This includes building campaigns, supporting segmentation, implementing testing, managing QA processes, launching communications, and maintaining accurate performance reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail with hands-on lifecycle marketing experience and understands how Email and SMS contribute to customer engagement, retention, and repeat purchases within a B2C environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Email campaigns using drag-and-drop email builders, with the ability to support HTML-based builds when applicable.
• Build and execute SMS campaigns within Postscript according to campaign requirements and customer segmentation.
• Implement A/B testing and other proposed testing mechanisms across Email and SMS campaigns.
• Support the creation and maintenance of customer segments across both lifecycle channels.
• Ensure campaigns are accurately configured, scheduled, and launched according to marketing calendars and business priorities.
• Own pre-launch QA processes for Email and SMS campaigns.
• Review campaign copy, creative, links, segmentation, personalization, testing configurations, and scheduling prior to launch.
• Conduct post-launch QA to verify campaign execution and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a consistently high standard for accuracy, customer experience, and brand consistency across all sends.
• Support list health, deliverability best practices, consent requirements, and applicable data privacy standards.
• Own recurring Email and SMS reporting in partnership with the Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing.
• Maintain and update monthly lifecycle marketing metrics.
• Organize campaign and channel performance data using Google Sheets.

Qualifications and requirements

• 2–3 years of hands-on Email and SMS marketing experience, preferably within lifecycle, CRM, retention, or e-commerce marketing.
• Experience supporting or owning Email and SMS campaigns from build through QA, launch, and reporting.
• Hands-on drag-and-drop Email building experience is required.
• Experience working with U.S.-based B2C consumer brands or consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies is required.
• Experience with DTC e-commerce, wellness, supplements, beauty, personal care, food and beverage, or similar consumer categories is highly preferred.
• Experience with Klaviyo and Postscript is strongly preferred.
• Experience with subscription and loyalty platforms such as Recharge and Rivo is a plus.
• HTML or dynamic Email coding capabilities are a plus.
• Strong understanding of Email and SMS lifecycle marketing fundamentals.
• Experience creating and managing customer segmentation.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and campaign testing methodologies.
• Strong campaign QA skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Understanding of Email/SMS reporting and key lifecycle marketing performance metrics.
