As we expand our reach globally, Dandy is building the operating system for dental offices around the world—empowering clinicians and their teams with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practices, their people, and their patients. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Dental Sales Engineering to lead and grow our team of Sales Engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor a team of Sales Engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring they meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring the Sales Engineering team is effectively aligned with overall revenue goals.
- Technical Expertise & Enablement: Act as a subject matter expert on Dandy’s product offerings, workflows, and the broader dental industry. Work hand-in-hand with Enablement to develop and deliver training programs that empower the sales team with deep product knowledge and effective demonstration techniques.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine Sales Engineering processes, tools, and best practices to maximize efficiency, impact, and scalability.
- Customer Advocacy: Ensure the team consistently provides exceptional technical support and guidance to prospective practices, helping them understand Dandy's value and addressing complex questions with clarity and confidence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to stay abreast of new offerings, provide valuable market feedback, and ensure a seamless customer journey.
Qualifications and requirements
- 1+ years of management experience
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role within the dental space, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience leading or managing a team.
- Proven track record of success in exceeding targets and driving revenue through technical sales support.
- Deep understanding of digital dentistry and the dental industry, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts simply and effectively.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, with a passion for developing talent and building strong teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders from dental professionals to internal leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
