Job description

About this role

As renewable energy reshapes the global power system, batteries are taking center stage. Making them safe, reliable, and bankable at scale is a defining challenge of the energy transition. At TWAICE, our software turns battery data into insights - so decisions are made with confidence, not guesswork. We're accelerating the transition into a new energy era and we're looking for those who want to move fast with us. As a Senior Account Executive, you own the commercial relationship with IPPs, utilities, developers, and integrators across the Americas. You run full sales cycles from first conversation to signature, and you stay on the account through renewal and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the full sales cycle for your accounts: self-sourced pipeline, discovery, commercial structuring, negotiation, and close
  • Selling into IPPs, utilities, and developers at multiple levels: asset management, performance engineering, O&M, procurement, and the CFO office
  • Running credible technical conversations without a Solution Engineer in the room, and knowing when to pull one in
  • Closing pilots, converting them into multi-year subscriptions, and expanding from first site to fleet
  • Positioning TWAICE against OEM-bundled tools, EMS-adjacent platforms, and homegrown analytics
  • Partnering with the BDR on target accounts and with Customer Success on renewals and expansion
  • Representing TWAICE at industry events, with roughly 30% travel for customer meetings

Qualifications and requirements

  • You are a team player and amplify the overall team performance
  • You are already embedded in the renewable energy industry. You have a live network in storage or renewables and can name the accounts you would call in week one. You understand how IPPs and utilities actually buy: long cycles, multiple stakeholders, capital committees, procurement gates, and the difference between a regulated utility and a merchant operator
  • Track record of closing logos you sourced yourself, not inbound or handed pipeline. Whether you have 3 years or 10 years of experience, we want to see deals won in the energy industry (IPPs, utilities)
  • Ambition to understand a technically complex product and being able to present it without a solution engineer and mentally nimble. You adapt the conversation to the persona in front of you, handle a technical objection on your feet, and change the plan when the market does
  • You get operational fast. You are comfortable with an unfinished playbook and build what you need rather than waiting for it
  • Clear communicator, strong English required
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving startup with a small team and real ownership
